About the role Transam Carriers is a Toronto-based asset carrier — 120+ trucks, cross-border LTL and truckload, our own customs desk and a cross-dock in Concord. This is a hunting role. You are opening recent shipper accounts, and you are not starting from a cold list.

What makes this different We have hauled freight for a lot of companies we have never properly sold to — through brokers, on spot, as an overflow carrier. That history is your starting lead book. You are calling companies whose freight we have already moved, whose lanes we already run, and whose service standard we have already met.

You will also open genuinely new accounts. Both count. What you would do Work the existing lead book and open new shipper accounts in the GTA and along our lanes Quote with real capacity behind you — our trucks, our dock, our customs desk Own the relationship after the first load,



not hand it off Feed real market intelligence back into pricing What we are looking for You have sold freight before, or you have sold something hard and want to learn freight properly You are comfortable on the phone and in front of a shipper You understand that an asset carrier sells capacity, not just a rate — and that a cheap load in the wrong direction costs money Cross-border knowledge is an advantage, not a requirement What we offer A warm, data-rich lead book rather than a bought list Our own equipment, dock and customs desk — you can promise things and have them happen Based at our Concord terminal, not remote Direct access to decision-makers here How we hire We use an AI phone screen for the first conversation on some roles — you will be told before it starts, and a person makes every hiring decision.
