Project Overview

The Bloor-Yonge CapacityImprovements Project is a significant undertaking by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) to expand and modernize Bloor-Yonge station – Canada’s busiest subway hub. This initiative is focused on meeting both current and future ridership needs by improving the station’s efficiency, capacity, and accessibility.

The Kenaidan Murphy Joint Venture (KMJV) is committed to transforming the station to enable faster, more reliable, and more comfortable travel throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The project will deliver upgraded facilities, contributing to a safer, cleaner, and higher-capacity subway system for passengers.

Scheduler

We currently have an opening in Toronto, ON for a:

The scheduler will be responsible for planning, organizing and managing schedules for various projects and events.

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Develop and maintain detailed baseline, tender, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close‑out schedules.

- Create project schedules using Primavera P6 and other scheduling software in accordance with contract requirements and company standards.

- Work with project teams to establish the project work breakdown structure, sequencing, durations, milestones, and critical path.

- Update project schedules regularly based on actual progress, revised forecasts, site conditions, procurement activities, and changes in project scope.

- Monitor project performance against the approved baseline schedule and identify delays, scheduling conflicts, risks, and opportunities.





- Complete critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and earned value or progress measurement, where required.

- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to obtain accurate scheduling information.

- Review subcontractor and supplier schedules to ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.

- Track key project milestones, design deliverables, procurement lead times, permits, approvals, construction activities, testing, commissioning, and turnover requirements.

Education and Experience

- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.

- A minimum of 5 years of scheduling or project controls experience within the construction industry.

- Experience developing and maintaining schedules for large, complex construction or infrastructure projects.

- Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 is required.

- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project controls or reporting tools is considered an asset

- Experience working on transit, civil infrastructure, commercial, institutional, industrial, or other major construction projects is preferred

Salary Range

Salary range between $110K-130K, depending on experience
