This competition is to fill one (1) permanent full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- First Point of Contact: The School Records Secretary serves as the initial contact for students, staff, and parents/guardians, providing assistance and information as needed.
- Office Administration: Ensuring the smooth operation of the school office by managing schedules, handling communications, and supporting administrative tasks.
- Confidential Record Management: Maintaining and managing confidential student records and files, ensuring they are organized,



secure and accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Support for School Operations: Assisting in various administrative tasks that contribute to the efficient functioning of the school.

Essential Qualifications

- Experience providing reception to clients in an office setting;
- Experience performing basic administrative and clerical tasks such as tracking and data entry, photocopying, scanning and faxing;
- Experience working with Outlook, Word & Excel;
- Recent filing and records management experience;




- Experience working in a school environment would be considered an asset.

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:

- Security clearance, including Vulnerable Sector Check
