A Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Registered membership with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Knowledge and successful experience in working with children designated in a low incidence category.

Successful experience in working with special needs students and their families. Ability to provide a wide variety of speech/language services to students with many different needs. Membership with Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and Speech and Hearing BC (SHBC) Experience with AAC, including communication apps such as Touch Chat and LAMP WFL.

Knowledge of the K-12 curriculum and successful experience working in the public school system. Strategies to identify learning difficulties and implement effective intervention to maximize academic success. Superior work ethic and social emotional competencies, excellent reflective judgment, and commitment to building effective learning communities.

Ability to positively influence instruction, curriculum, assessment,



and social-emotional learning practices in a collaborative environment. Knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant computer technologies to teaching and learning. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to enhance the school as a learning community.
