We’re partnering with a public accounting firm on a search for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.
? Location: Markham, Ontario
? Industry: Public Accounting
? CPA designated or actively pursuing CPA
? 3+ years of recent public accounting experience
? Salary: $80,000–$95,000
This is an opportunity for an accounting professional ready to take on greater responsibility, lead client engagements, and continue growing their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Recent public accounting experience
- Proven experience leading audits and reviews
- Strong tax knowledge and experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns
- Experience with compilations and financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of ASPE / ASNPO
- Exposure to IFRS and public company audits
- Experience leading and supporting junior team members
- Solid client service and relationship-building skills
