About the Opportunity
Proxylink's healthcare client in the government sector is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major ePrescribing and Medication Management initiative .
This role will focus on improving healthcare workflows, supporting digital health solutions, and helping connect healthcare providers with modern provincial digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for ePrescribing and medication workflows.
- Work closely with healthcare providers, clinical stakeholders, business teams, and technical teams .
- Analyze and improve medication, pharmacy, hospital, and patient health record workflows.
- Support requirements prioritization, solution design, implementation, and deployment.
- Develop process documentation and contribute to project plans and status reporting.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and medication-focused working groups.
- Help ensure solutions align with healthcare privacy and regulatory requirements.
Must-Have Experience
- 5–7+ years of Business Analysis experience within healthcare/eHealth projects .
- 5–8+ years defining and implementing business requirements in healthcare environments.
- 4–5+ years working with Healthcare Information Systems and data workflows.
- 4–5+ years of experience with medication, pharmacy, clinical, hospital, or patient health record workflows .
- Robust stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in complex, matrixed healthcare/government environments .
Nice to Have
- Degree in Health, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with ePrescribing, medication management, or clinical systems .
- Knowledge of PHIPA, FIPPA, HPPA , and healthcare privacy requirements.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare implementation or deployment projects.
