Term and Location

This role is based in Ottawa, Montreal, or Toronto. The Chamber will offer a hybrid work arrangement, with a requirement of three days in-office presence per week. If the candidate is located in Toronto, this role is currently a remote position, however, the Chamber will be establishing an office in Toronto, and the same hybrid work arrangements as in Ottawa and Montreal will be applicable at that time. Once an office has been established, there will be no available remote option

Summary of the Role and Opportunity The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is seeking an entrepreneurial and service-oriented coordinator to serve as Senior Coordinator, Chamber Network Engagement.

Reporting to the Vice President, Chamber Network Engagement, the Senior Coordinator, Chamber Network Engagement will support the development and delivery of programs and initiatives that strengthen the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s network of more than 400 chambers of commerce across Canada.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines national program coordination, member services, stakeholder engagement, and operational support. Working closely with the Vice President, the Senior Coordinator will help translate strategic priorities into practical programs, tools and processes that chambers can successfully implement in their local business communities.

A key focus of the role will be the Chamber’s national AI adoption initiative, delivered in partnership with Google.org, Elevate and the Chamber Network. The initiative aims to help more than 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses identify practical opportunities to adopt artificial intelligence, improve productivity and address everyday business challenges.

The Senior

Coordinator will play a central role in coordinating national implementation and supporting participating chambers across Canada.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

National AI Program

- Support the Vice President, Chamber Network Engagement in developing and implementing national programs and initiatives that create value for chambers of commerce and their local business communities.
- Coordinate the implementation of the Chamber’s national AI adoption initiative, including timelines,



deliverables and priorities across multiple program workstreams, internal teams and external partners.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with chambers of commerce across Canada, supporting their participation in national Chamber programs and initiatives, including onboarding, support and regular engagement with participating chambers.
- Develop practical playbooks, templates, project management tools and other resources that enable chambers to deliver programs effectively and promote them to local business communities.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve program design and delivery based on the experience of participating chambers and businesses.
- Work collaboratively across Canadian Chamber teams, including Communications, Finance, Membership, Business Data Lab and other departments, to support integrated program delivery.
- Support the preparation of meetings, partner updates, implementation materials and other resources required for effective program delivery.
- Support other Chamber Network Engagement programs and strategic initiatives as required.

Program Monitoring, Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

- Monitor implementation progress, identify emerging challenges and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
- Coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities alongside program research and evaluation partners.
- Support the collection and analysis of program data, participant feedback, success stories and other insights from chambers and SMEs across Canada.
- Translate program data and stakeholder feedback into practical recommendations that strengthen implementation and participant experience.
- Support impact reporting and other reporting requirements for Google.org and other national partners.
- Maintain effective systems for tracking activities, milestones, participation and program outcomes.

Chamber Network Engagement and Support

- Support initiatives designed to strengthen engagement, collaboration and connectivity across the Chamber Network.
- Maintain a strong customer-service orientation, proactively identifying opportunities to improve the experience of chambers participating in national initiatives.
- Support the accuracy and integrity of Chamber Network membership and stakeholder records through proactive oversight of data entry, updates, imports and quality controls.
- Support invoicing and membership renewal follow-up processes, contributing to strong retention and effective revenue management across the Chamber Network.
- Support Finance processes, including accounts receivable follow-up and collections for Chamber Network members.
- Conduct research and develop target lists of prospective Chamber Network members, program participants, partners and sponsors.




- Provide other administrative and operational support to the Chamber Network Engagement team as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

- Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in project or program coordination, stakeholder engagement, member services, economic development, business associations, innovation programs or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple organizations, stakeholders, partners or workstreams.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, timelines and deliverables.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strong customer- and member-service orientation.
- Experience supporting partners, members, clients or other stakeholders through program implementation.
- Familiarity with chambers of commerce, business associations, economic development organizations, innovation hubs, accelerators, consultancies, startups or similar organizations is an asset.
- Experience supporting small businesses, entrepreneurship, technology adoption or innovation initiatives is a strong asset.
- Understanding of artificial intelligence and Canada’s innovation ecosystem is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data, feedback and operational insights to support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizations without direct reporting authority.
- Ability to operate with initiative and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent projects.
- High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, adaptability and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience with CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot, is an asset.
- Experience with Monday.com or similar project management platforms is an asset.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel periodically within Canada.
- Professional proficiency in both English and French is required.
- Superior oral and written communication skills in both official languages are required.
- Postsecondary education in business administration, project management, communications, public administration, economic development or a related discipline.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience may also be considered.
