The successful candidate must have a minimum of five (5) or more years of relevant finance experience, with experience in financial planning, variance analysis and management reportingand will be responsible for owning a portfolio of departments end to end - managing, analyzing, evaluating and reporting on their performance - while contributing to the firm-wide budget cycles and the projects that keep improving how Finance works. As a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A; you will be: Preparing budget analysis and presentation for senior leadership. Preparing month-end journal entries, reclassifications and related account reconciliations.
Managing and analyzing monthly payroll reports for headcount and salary reconciliation. Preparing monthly deck packages and supporting analysis for senior leadership and Audit Committee. Investigating month-over-month movements,
responding to review questions from Finance leadership and revising your analysis through the review cycle.
Acting as a finance business partner to department leaders and functional groups: explaining results, challenging assumptions, and helping them manage their resources, costs and investments against Budget. Supporting the firm's annual professional liability insurance renewal and its interim and international submissions. Assisting with various finance projects as well partnering with other functional groups on projects impacting finance.
Other ad-hoc projects as assigned. A professional accounting designation (CPA) or an equivalent finance qualification. Five or more years of relevant finance experience, with experience in financial planning, variance analysis and management reporting.
Solid month-end close experience, including accruals, journal entries and account reconciliations. Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills, and confidence working with large data sets from multiple source systems.
