Wills Transfer Limited is looking for an experienced Inventory Analyst to help strengthen inventory accuracy, system integrity and operational performance across our Brockville operations.

This is a hands-on, analytical role for someone who enjoys getting to the bottom of inventory issues. You will work closely with Operations, Customer Service and our customers to investigate discrepancies, reconcile inventory across systems, identify root causes and implement solutions that prevent repeat problems.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working both in the data and on the warehouse floor—using systems, transaction history and reporting to understand what happened, while also observing warehouse processes to determine why it happened.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Own inventory accuracy and reconciliation activities for assigned customer accounts and operational areas.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies using physical verification, transaction history, warehouse systems and customer data.
- Complete and support daily, weekly, monthly and customer-specific inventory reconciliations.
- Lead cycle-count programs, including risk-based counts, customer-directed counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate material or recurring inventory issues to determine the underlying root cause—not simply correct the inventory balance.
- Analyze inventory trends, adjustments and transaction errors to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop reports, dashboards and KPIs that provide clear visibility into inventory performance.
- Review receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, shipping, returns and transfer processes to identify inventory-control weaknesses.
- Recommend improvements to processes, system controls, documentation, training and standard work.

- Support new customer and SKU setup, significant inventory moves and system-related inventory troubleshooting.
- Act as a key inventory-control resource for Operations, Customer Service, customers and other internal teams.
- Maintain accurate, organized and audit-ready inventory records and supporting documentation.

The position is accountable for maintaining strong inventory controls and helping Operations eliminate recurring errors. Warehouse leaders remain responsible for execution within their areas; the Inventory Analyst provides the analysis, verification and visibility needed to ensure inventory standards are being maintained.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means more than correcting inventory discrepancies. We are looking for someone who can determine why inventory errors are happening and help prevent them from happening again.

You will be expected to contribute to:

- Inventory accuracy of 99.5% or better, unless a higher customer standard applies.
- 100% completion of scheduled cycle counts.
- Timely completion of inventory reconciliations.
- Faster resolution of discrepancies and fewer repeat errors.
- Stronger inventory controls and improved operational processes.
- Accurate, audit-ready documentation.
- Clear reporting that helps Operations understand where action is required.

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in inventory control, inventory analysis,

warehousing, distribution, logistics or a comparable operational environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory-control principles.
- Demonstrated experience investigating and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with ERP and/or warehouse-management systems.
- Strong analytical, root-cause and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret transaction histories and reconcile information across multiple systems.
- Robust attention to detail and independent judgment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working with large data sets, identifying trends and exceptions, and turning analysis into practical recommendations for operational teams.

Nice to Have

- Experience in a 3PL or customer-owned inventory environment.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Experience developing dashboards, KPIs or management reporting.
- Power Query, Power BI or similar reporting experience.
- Experience with structured root-cause analysis or corrective-action methodologies.
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.

About the Work Environment

This role supports multiple Brockville operations and requires someone who is comfortable spending time in a warehouse environment to physically verify inventory and understand operational processes. Flexibility may occasionally be required for physical inventories, audits, customer requirements or significant investigations.
