Job Title: Senior Java Developer with DevOps Expertise

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong DevOps expertise to join Charter Communications in Denver. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Java-based backend development, cloud environments, and CI/CD practices, with a strong focus on building scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver technical solutions
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Work on cloud-native architectures and microservices-based systems
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support
- Ensure best practices in security, coding standards, and DevOps

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java development




- Expertise in:
- Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture
- REST API design and development

- Strong DevOps experience with:

- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Docker, Kubernetes

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong knowledge of:

- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)

- Experience in:

- Performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc.)
- Exposure to security best practices in DevOps (DevSecOps)
- Experience in telecom or large-scale enterprise environments
