Responsibilities

- Assist in determining which combination of Microsoft 365 tools, such as Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Power Platform, Viva, and Copilot, should be leveraged to meet a given business goal before solutions are built.
- Determine the appropriate development approach for adapting Microsoft technologies to organizational needs, avoiding over-engineering and ensuring solutions are sustainable, governed, and aligned with enterprise capabilities.
- Design and develop software solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, prioritizing reusable and scalable components to reduce technical debt and increase delivery velocity.
- Identify and analyze data and information requirements, including data ownership, data integrity, migration strategies, and how data interconnects and flows between Microsoft applications.
- Map business goals to Microsoft 365 capabilities and compare solution options for simplicity, sustainability, cost, and governance.
- Recommend technology patterns with supporting rationale, identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Build Power Automate cloud flows using standard and custom connectors for both automation and orchestration.
- Develop custom and HTTP connectors, MS Graph API integrations, Canvas Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, and Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create detailed solution design documents, populate knowledge repositories, and deliver walkthroughs to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Support release testing by establishing test groups,



executing and validating test plans and user acceptance, ensuring data integrity and system functionality, and identifying and resolving issues.
- Assist in transitioning solution pilots to production following acceptance testing.
- Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and hands-on walkthroughs to enable staff to support and maintain delivered solutions.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing solutions within a Microsoft ecosystem, including clarifying business goals, mapping requirements to Microsoft capabilities, recommending technology patterns, and delivering reusable, scalable components.
- At least one of the following certifications: PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate, or PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert.
- 5+ years of experience developing with the Microsoft Planner API, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams via the MS Graph API, and Power Automate cloud flows using standard and custom connectors for automation and orchestration.
- 5+ years of experience integrating Azure Active Directory single sign-on, building Microsoft Teams Canvas Power Apps and custom components with the PowerApps Component Framework,



developing Power BI reports and dashboards, and connecting to enterprise and common Dataverse data.
- 5+ years of experience developing in the Microsoft ecosystem using Visual Studio with C#, .NET, and Python, and Visual Studio Code with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience developing with AI agents and Copilot, Microsoft Teams message extensions and adaptive cards, the Microsoft Teams SDK and CLI, and the Microsoft Teams Toolkit or 365 Agents Toolkit integrated with Visual Studio Code.
- Secret personnel security clearance required.
