Job Title: Senior Oracle Python Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Python Developer to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of overall experience, including 4+ years of hands-on expertise in Python, Oracle 12c, and Django. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing applications in a quick-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django and Python.
- Work with Oracle 12c databases to create, manage, and optimize queries, procedures, and database structures.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of developed applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions,



and agile processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for code, systems, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of total professional experience, with 4+ years of expertise in the following:
- Django Framework
- Oracle 12c (advanced query writing, stored procedures, optimization)
- Python programming language

- Strong understanding of web development concepts, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
- Proficiency in database design and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
