Who You Are

You are an experienced Sage Intacct Construction professional who sees implementation as more than configuring software. You understand construction businesses and know how to draw the operating model out of a client through thoughtful questioning, active listening, and effective communication - then translate what you learn into practical Sage Intacct Construction design and configuration.

You are equally comfortable in technical detail and project leadership. You guide customers through difficult decisions, create clarity for implementors, delegate rather than becoming the bottleneck, and surface risk before it becomes a customer problem.

You do not need to be the hero in the room. You make the people around you better, share what you know, ask for expertise when it is needed, and leave projects and the practice stronger than you found them.

The Role

As Asyma's Senior Sage Intacct Construction Practice Lead, you will lead complex Construction implementations from approved scope through design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization. You will remain hands-on where senior expertise is required while also owning project governance, customer leadership,



implementor development, and the continued strengthening of Asyma's Construction practice.

Your success is measured not only by what you personally complete, but by whether projects are controlled, customers understand the solution, risks are visible early, implementors become more capable, and Construction knowledge becomes stronger and more transferable across Asyma.

Core Accountabilities

Project Leadership & Governance - Lead assigned Construction implementations through clear plans, milestones, ownership, scope, risks, customer commitments, governance gates, and go-live readiness. Surface issues early and keep delivery visible and controlled.

Construction Discovery, SME & Advanced Delivery - Lead discovery and design conversations that uncover how the customer actually operates. Translate workflows, financial controls, exceptions, pain points, and desired outcomes into effective Sage Intacct Construction design and configuration, remaining hands-on where senior expertise is required.

Implementor Leadership & Development - Shape and steer the implementors working with you. Create clear work packages, delegate thoughtfully, confirm understanding, coach execution, inspect quality, and build capability rather than becoming the bottleneck.

Construction Practice Development - Turn project learning into reusable standards, design approaches, configuration patterns, testing scenarios, training assets, and Construction Toolbox content. Support complex sales opportunities and strengthen Sage and third-party relationships.

Requirements

We are less interested in checking boxes than in finding evidence that you can genuinely operate at this level.

- Sage Intacct and Sage Intacct Construction certification.
- 5+ years of financial-management software, ERP, accounting systems, or implementation experience, with meaningful hands-on Sage Intacct experience.




- Demonstrated experience leading full-lifecycle implementations as a Project Manager or accountable delivery lead.
- Strong understanding of Construction workflows including job costing, project accounting, commitments, purchasing, change orders, progress billing, retainage, AP/AR, and reporting.
- Strong accounting and financial-process understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to lead discovery conversations, understand a customer's business model, and translate it into system design.
- Demonstrated ability to plan work, delegate effectively, manage competing priorities, maintain scope discipline, and escalate risk early.
- Experience coaching or technically leading consultants or implementors.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the skilled presence to work confidently with customers, executives, colleagues, Sage, and third-party partners.
- Comfort working with structured project-management tools such as Smartsheet and formal governance, documentation, sign-off, and change-control standards.
