Join Henry Schein Canada as a Senior Total Rewards Specialist and help deliver Total Rewards programs that support Team Schein Members across Canada. This experienced role combines complex case management, compensation consulting, benefits and pension support, wellness strategy, compliance, analytics and Total Rewards program improvement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Own complex and escalated Total Rewards matters from assessment through stakeholder coordination, recommendation, resolution, documentation and follow-up.
- Manage complex job-protected leave, disability, workers’ compensation, accommodation and return-to-work cases across Canadian jurisdictions, coordinating with employees, leaders, HR, Payroll, Safety & Security, carriers and provincial bodies.
- Provide compensation consulting through market benchmarking, job evaluation, internal equity analysis, pay positioning and recommendations for hires, promotions, internal moves and evolving roles.
- Support annual merit and incentive programs, market reviews, salary structures,
pay equity/pay transparency requirements and other compensation initiatives through advanced analysis and recommendations.
- Create, evolve and drive the Canadian wellness strategy using benefits utilization, claims, workers’ compensation, disability, leave, participation and employee insight data to identify priorities and measure outcomes.
- Analyze benefits and pension trends and support renewals, plan-design evaluation, implementation, DB/DC pension governance, audits, vendor coordination and member education.
- Contribute to Total Rewards compliance audits, data-integrity reviews and controls, including Pay Equity/Employment Equity and FSRA requirements.
- Lead or contribute to Total Rewards projects, process improvements, HRIS enhancements, communications and vendor initiatives while maintaining accurate employee and organizational data in Workday and ADP.
WHAT YOU BRING
You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field, with three to five years of progressive Total Rewards or HR experience. You have hands-on experience with compensation, benefits, leaves, disability and workers’ compensation, along with robust analytical, case management and communication skills.
You are proficient in Excel and Workday or a comparable HRIS, comfortable using AI-enabled tools, and exercise sound judgement when handling confidential information. A CCP or HR designation and bilingualism in French and English are considered assets.

*This is a hybrid position based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
The posted range for this position is $68,000 - $84,000, which is the expected salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc.
