Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our energetic restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm for food, excellent customer service skills, and ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency will ensure every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Toast and relay orders promptly to kitchen staff
- Provide exceptional guest service by answering questions about menu items, making recommendations, and upselling specials or beverages to enhance the dining experience
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are followed diligently throughout service




- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed and support kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations

Skills

- Proven experience in upscale restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Toast POS, for order entry and transaction processing
- Excellent time management and attention to detail skills to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory checks
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Basic kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep or assisting during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
