INDUSTRIAL METALS (2011) is looking for a Skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to enhance our maintenance team. This position involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers to ensure our fleet remains compliant and effective. As a key member of our repairs and maintenance team, you will apply your mechanical knowledge and leadership skills to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency.
The role requires a Red Seal Certification and a minimum of five years working on commercial vehicles or heavy-duty equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive inspections and repairs on vehicles
- Diagnose issues in electrical and hydraulic systems
- Conduct repairs on trailer and braking systems
- Complete routine servicing tasks as needed
- Keep accurate documentation of maintenance activities Requirements:
