Speech Language Pathology Temporary Full Time

Position: Speech Language Pathologist As member of a multi-disciplinary Collaborative Practice Team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide assessment, treatment, and education for adult patients, family, and staff regarding the management of communication and swallowing disorders. The successful candidate will participate in program planning/development; professional and hospital initiatives supporting quality management and research; supervision of Communication Disorders Assistants; This position currently supports the sub acute adult population at @Chicopee but can be re-assigned depending on organizational needs. Registered and in positive standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school.
Membership in Ontario Speech-Language Pathology Association preferred. A minimum of two years hospital related experience in assessment and management of dysphagia and video fluoroscopic studies preferred.
Knowledge of relevant legislation and community resources required.
