Join the Sobering and Assessment Centre in Campbell River, providing essential support to guests through intake and discharge processes. Reporting to the Program Manager, the Sobering Assessment Centre Worker plays a critical role in helping clients impacted by substance use, mental health issues, or homelessness.

You will ensure a clean and secure environment while observing and documenting client behavior. Immediate impact and direct assistance to vulnerable individuals are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a secure and clean environment for guests
- Screen clients for admittance and record discharges
- Observe clients and report essential information
- Provide food, hygiene supplies, and first aid items
- Facilitate connections to community resources

Requirements:

- 3-6 months related experience or equivalent education
- Valid First Aid with CPR-C certification
- Valid Food Safe Certificate
- Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check
- Effective communication skills in verbal and written forms
