Social-First Content Creator (Full-Time)TLDR: Serotina is hiring a Social-First Content Creator to film, edit, and publish platform-native content that stops the scroll, and to grow into a creative voice who shapes ideas, not just executes them. If you live on TikTok and Reels, have 2+ years making social video, and want room to flex into strategy, we'd love to meet you.
Location: Toronto, Canada (hybrid, remote-first)
Who Are You?You're a trend-forward creator who thinks in platform-native formats. You can take a concept from idea to post, shooting, editing, and publishing short-form video that feels like it belongs on the feed and not like an ad. You have a robust instinct for what's working right now across TikTok, Reels, and Shorts, and you can adapt a trend to a brand's voice without losing the plot. You can identify trending formats, but also think beyond them with creative ingenuity and your own style.
You're also ready for more than execution. You want to contribute ideas, help build content pillars, and step into strategy conversations. This role is built for a creator who can flex up: someone who executes at a high level today and grows into shaping the "what" and "why," not just the "how."
What You'll DoContent Production & Publishing
- Film, edit, and publish short-form video optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with platform-native transitions, text overlays, captions, and platform-appropriate pacing.
- Export in the correct format, resolution, and dimensions per platform.
- Create UGC-style and on-camera content that feels authentic and natural.
- Write captions and social copy, select thumbnails, and optimize posting timing for platform best-practices.
- Own QA before publishing so every post is accurate, on-brand, and correctly formatted.
- Maintain sharp attention to detail and high standards at all times.
Trendspotting & Creative Input
- Monitor TikTok, Reels, and Shorts daily for formats, cultural moments, and concept trends. Share the most relevant ones with the team weekly.
- Propose ways to adapt viral moments and formats to brand tone and product.
- Contribute fresh ideas in creative brainstorms and push format experimentation.
Strategic Flex (Growth Area)
- Contribute to creative development, concepting, and campaign ideas alongside the strategy team.
- Help translate briefs into strong creative directions, and bring a point of view on what a brand should be making next.
- Support the build of client-facing content ideas and creative calendars when needed.
Content Library & Workflow
- Organize raw footage, edited files, and final exports. Maintain audio references and templates, and label files for future use.
- Manage multiple projects at once, meeting deadlines and keeping quality consistent.
General
- Attend virtual team meetings and in-person team moments.
- Ability to travel locally for content shooting, events, and client on-site needs.
- Submit task reports and maintain accurate time tracking in Teamwork per Company policy.
- Communicate promptly during business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays).
- Work independently and collaboratively, applying strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For

- A personal content portfolio is an asset.
- Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent) and comfort with native social editing tools.
- Comfortable being on camera and producing UGC-style content.
- Deep, current understanding of social formats, trends, and best practices.
- A creative instinct that can flex into ideation and strategy, not just execution.
- Experience with AI creative production tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ElevenLabs, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Motion graphics or design skills (After Effects, Figma) are a bonus.
- Proactive, dependable, and strong at managing feedback and iterating quickly.
- CPG, beverage, or food and beverage brand experience is an asset.
