Social Worker – Registered Therapist 1 – Walk-In POSITION VACANCY Two (2) Permanent Full time Position Social Worker / Registered Therapist 1 35 hours/week (This is a unionized position) MANAGER Clinical Manager SERVICE Walk-In JOB RATE Starting at $60,515 Annually Position Summary The Social Worker/Registered Therapist 1 – Walk In will help support our walk-in sites by providing solution-focused single session therapy to families and children. In addition, the Therapist will conduct Choice appointments to support the implementation of the CAPA (Choice and Partnership Approach) model at Pathstone. This position will work at various Walk In locations.

Qualifications - B.S.W., or related discipline;

- Registered as a Social Worker with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or Registered as a Psychotherapist with the College of Psychotherapists;
- 3 -4 years relevant clinical experience




- Experience and / or training in evidence-based therapeutic interventions;
- Familiarity with offering services via virtual platforms (i.e. email, text, online counselling) would be considered an asset;
- If direct virtual supports are unfamiliar then an understanding of the various forms of virtual care as well as an understanding of clinical and privacy responsibilities would be an asset;
- Good communication and organizational skills;
- A current Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check within six (6) months;
- Bilingual in (French and English) is preferred;
- Experience working with the Indigenous population is an asset;
- Valid driver’s license, able to supply own vehicle, and be insurable to drive in Ontario
