We are looking for a Software Development Engineer II (SDE2) to join the Customer Data Platform team within the Identity & Trust organization.

This team builds and operates the systems that manage customer data at scale. Our platform runs on AWS and supports high-throughput, high-availability services that are critical to Remitly’s products and regulatory obligations. As an SDE2, you will design and build high-quality backend services and APIs across a subset of the team’s systems.

You will operate independently in code construction, testing,



deployment, and maintenance. You will own features end-to-end, handle challenging problems with clear constraints and trade-offs, and contribute to improving system quality, reliability, and performance. Own features or functional areas from technical design through production support.

Work with relational and non-relational databases to implement reliable, performant data access patterns. Improve code quality, testing, deployment, logging, and monitoring practices. Identify and mitigate obvious technical and delivery risks.

Experience with DynamoDB or other large-scale NoSQL data stores. In Canada, Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
