We are currently seeking a Software Development Senior Analyst to join our team in Brampton, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

- Assess the existing IPT and AMP databases, including data structures, volumes, and dependencies.
- Work with IT, application support, database, infrastructure, and business teams to define appropriate data retention, archive, and purge rules.
- Design and develop an automated data purge and archive framework for IPT and AMP applications.
- Ensure archived information is retained and can be retrieved when required for business, operational, and audit purposes.
- Implement appropriate logging, monitoring, error handling, reconciliation, and audit controls.
- Test the solution to ensure data integrity and confirm there is no impact to active application functionality.
- Support performance testing and validate expected database performance improvements.
- Develop deployment, rollback, and operational support procedures.
- Deploy the solution into production and support stabilization activities after implementation.
- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to the internal support team.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required for this job with minimum years of experience on each)
- Robust SQL and database development experience.
- 5+ yrs Experience working with large transactional databases.




- 5 + yrs Experience designing or implementing data archival and purge solutions.
- 5 + yrs Experience with scripting or application development.
- 5 + yrs Experience with database performance optimization and production deployment.
- Ability to independently take a solution through technical assessment, design, development, testing, deployment, and handoff.

Nice to Have: (But not a must)
- Experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle.
- Experience working with enterprise applications.
- Experience in high-volume supply chain or transportation environments.

This posting relates to an existing vacancy within our organization. NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for Canada-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [60 $ CAD range]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for NTT DATA's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Discount Perks.
