Who you are

- If you’re a developer or technologist who loves discussing technology, working closely with customers across industries, and possesses a problem-solving, can-do mindset, we’d love to meet you as you’ll be joining a team that delivers real value through an industry-leading product

- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Software Engineer with direct customer engagement

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, data mapping, and integration patterns

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform, and familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go

- Experience designing and implementing enterprise integrations

- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage engineering and executive audiences

- Ability to prioritize responsibilities while adapting to a rapidly changing environment

- Join our Solutions Engineering team as a technical expert and trusted advocate, guiding our customers on their journey to success with Rootly





- As a Solutions Engineer you'll bring technical expertise to customer implementations and demos. You will develop best practices and content around Incident Management and On-Call, and collaborate across Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Product teams to represent the customers’ voice and drive continuous product improvements

- This role requires hands-on work with the integration surface that matters to our customers, including REST APIs, webhooks, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

- You will drive technical conversations with engineering teams at customer organizations and operate as a technical partner internally to ensure that solution requirements are clearly represented
