About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the Senior Manager, Creative & Production helps lead the day-to-day planning, coordination, and delivery of creative and production work. This role is responsible for bringing structure, clarity, and follow-through to how work gets planned, resourced, delivered, and closed out. As program volume and complexity continue to grow, this person will help ensure that creative and production work is well organized, properly resourced, financially tracked, and delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands-on leadership role. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Executive Creative Director, internal teams across all departments, freelancers, supplier partners, and Finance to keep projects moving, clarify priorities, identify risks early, and make sure teams have what they need to deliver strong work.

The right person will be comfortable balancing creative work with practical execution. They do not need to be the final creative authority, but they do need to be strong at planning, follow-through, people leadership, budget awareness and recommendations, and keeping complex work on track.

This Role Is a Strong Fit If...

- You like bringing order to busy, creative, fast-moving work.
- You can keep people, timelines, budgets, and deliverables moving without making everything overly complicated.
- You are comfortable being close to the details while still seeing the bigger picture.
- You can work with creative personalities, operational needs, client expectations, and financial realities without getting thrown off.
- You are willing to step in, clarify the next move, and help the team move forward.

This Role May Not Be a Fit If...

- You want to be the final creative decision-maker.
- You prefer strategy work and do not want to stay close to execution details.
- You are uncomfortable managing competing priorities, ambiguity, or shifting timelines.
- You avoid hard conversations about ownership, quality, timelines, or accountability.
- You prefer a fully built operating model rather than helping improve one that is still evolving.

What You’ll Own

- Leading and supporting the Creative & Production team in day-to-day execution, including setting priorities, clarifying expectations, and helping remove roadblocks.
- Managing resource planning across internal team members and freelancers, ensuring the right people are assigned to the right work at the right time.
- Overseeing project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables so that creative and production work stays organized and on track.
- Monitoring and owning budgets, costs, invoices, and reconciliation details in partnership with production team, finance team and other internal partners.
- Supporting freelancer and vendor coordination, including planning, onboarding, expectations, communication, and continuity of work.
- Helping improve workflows, handoffs, tools, and processes so the team can work with more clarity and less rework.
- Identifying risks early, raise issues when needed, and recommend practical solutions before problems become bigger.
- Providing feedback, coaching, and day-to-day support to team members so expectations, accountability, and performance are explicit.
- Contract review and approval for AV Partners.

What You’ll Partner On

- Final creative direction, in partnership with the Executive Creative Director and Experience Design team.
- Client strategy and program direction, in partnership with Client Solutions and other internal teams.
- Final financial decisions, in partnership with Sales, Finance and senior leadership.
- Vendor selection, pricing, and contract decisions, where broader approval may be required.

What Success Looks Like In the first 6 to 12 months, success would look like:

- Resource planning is clear, proactive, and matched to actual workload.
- Projects are moving with few bottlenecks, missed handoffs, and last-minute surprises.
- Budgets, costs, invoices, and reconciliations are tracked with visibility and follow-through.
- Team members have clear roles, priorities, and expectations.
- Freelancers and vendors are easy to plan for, manage, and bring into the work.
- Creative, Production, Client Solutions, and Finance are working with clear communication and few avoidable gaps.
- Process improvements are practical,

adopted by the team, and making the work easier to manage.

Must-Have Skills:

- Experience leading or managing creative, production, event, agency, or other deadline-driven project teams.
- Robust project planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
- Experience with resource planning, including internal team members, freelancers, contractors, or vendors.
- Strong people leadership skills, including setting expectations, giving feedback, and helping teams stay accountable.
- Comfortable working with budgets, cost tracking, invoices, and financial follow-through.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well across teams, clients, vendors, and internal partners.

Trainable Skills:

- Wynford’s specific systems, tools, processes, and ways of working.
- The details of internal budget, reconciliation, and approval processes.
- Deeper technical production knowledge, as long as the person brings strong planning, communication, and execution discipline.
