The Common Components unit provides shared software engineering services to global Product Management and development teams in the OpenText™ Products group. This includes User Experience Design support (guidelines and individual product designs), Product Information artifacts (product documentation and help), Localization support, Accessibility governance (VPAT, WCAG), Performance Engineering and Product Security, Build and release management tools and services.

You will define product investment strategies for growth, and customer retention, systemically deliver product line capabilities leveraging cloud delivery processes, incorporate cloud technologies like AWS or Azure, and efficiently manage field communication, market feedback, and validation. You will be an evangilist for our products, product lines and portfolios, understanding customer motivations and fostering customer-centric product development solutions that will shape the future and impact lives on a global scale.

What the role offers:

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

- Leverage complete knowledge and understanding of your area of specialization and professional discipline.




- Own product vision and strategy throughout the life cycle, utilizing project management tools for effective execution.
- Independently manage products with minimal support, demonstrating autonomy in decision-making and coordination.
- Advocate for continuous improvement and be accountable for end-to-end processes, smaller scale projects, and deliverables.
- Adapt to ambiguity, drawing on experience to make informed decisions, with thoughtful reviews and additional support available.
- Strengthen relationships and networks with senior internal and external partners through collaboration, and offer guidance to others within your area of expertise.
- Possess 5-8 years of previous professional experience.

What you need to Succeed:

- Market Analysis: Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the Information Management industry.
- Product Development: Demonstrated expertise in product development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum, with the ability to drive the entire product lifecycle.
- Data Analysis: Robust analytical skills to interpret data and metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making and product optimization.
- Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of software development, data management, and information technologies to effectively communicate with development teams and make informed technical decisions.
- Project Management: Competency in project management tools and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor product development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- UX/UI Design: Familiarity with user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles to create products that provide exceptional user experiences and meet design standards.

Compensation: At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range: $98,080.00 - $147,120.00; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
