CLS Catering Services is a joint venture of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. and LSG Sky Chefs, the world’s largest airline caterer and provider of integrated service solutions. CLS operates from both Toronto and Vancouver airports and has been an industry leader in Canada for over 20 years.
Responsibilities:
- Check incoming food for quality and quantity of products
- Ensure proper date codes are in place and refrigerated racks are clean at all times
- Maintain storage, security, and rotation of food as per HACCP regulations
- Daily issuing & receiving of stock items from store rooms area
- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
- Record shortages and reject damaged goods
- Oversee the loading and unloading of the goods
- Organize and keep the storeroom in an orderly and hygienic manner
- Daily inventory and place orders through Purchasing
- Advise Purchasing of any issues with products or suppliers
- Other duties as assigned
Reporting to: Storeroom Supervisor
Qualifications
- Shipping/receiving experience is an asset
- Must have basic Food Safe Level 1 or equivalent knowledge of food handling procedures
- Must be able to work in freezers/coolers (1-4 hours/day)
- Must be able to operate pump truck
- Ability to lift items up to 20Kg at shoulder & height level
- HACCP training is an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast paced workplace with large volume of food products
- Ability to read and write in English
- Detail orientated
