Pario Engineering and Environmental Services has an existing opportunity for aStructural Forensic Engineer who is dynamic, motivated, and passionate about their career to support the Calgary area. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing forensic investigations for structural, building envelope, as well as building code compliance issues. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs is a must.

A willingness to travel is a must. Interview witnesses, service personnel and other local officials Develop and complete full working drawings for building department acceptance Complete complex or innovative projects of any size where new or innovative design approaches are required Lead project(s) from start to finish Minimum bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering required Professional Engineering license, or the ability to be licensed in the Province of Alberta required Preferably,
experienceincludes solid residential design experienceand/or equivalent work experience Experience within the insurance and legal industry is an asset A demonstrated track record of taking projects to successful completion Proficient in standard Microsoft Office (MS Word, Outlook & Excel) Expert knowledge and understanding of the Regional Building Code Hand-on construction experience would be an asset Positive, self-driven, motivated, personal attitude Customer facing experience: Ability to discuss projects budgets with clients and maintain continuous communications throughout the project Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle to meet the travel requirements of the position.
