Responsibilities

The Student Leadership & Learning Support Assistant will support the systems, resources, and learning materials that strengthen student leadership and co-curricular engagement at Ivey. This role will contribute to operational and governance-related projects across student leadership portfolios while also assisting with the development, organization, and refinement of selected co-curricular learning initiatives, including The Learning Studio. This role is well suited to a student who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in higher education, student engagement, and the design of learning experiences that strengthen student participation, leadership, and development beyond the classroom.

Responsbilities

- Support the organization and maintenance of a centralized digital hub for governance resources, guides, templates, and student leader materials
- Assist with the coordination and upkeep of a shared co-curricular events calendar, including collecting event details, maintaining accurate records, and identifying potential scheduling conflicts
- Review, format, and organize standardized resources such as transition documents, event planning tools, and club templates
- Assist in compiling, organizing, and preparing learning resources and program materials for co-curricular initiatives, including The Learning Studio
- Support the development and refinement of student-facing and facilitator-facing materials, such as activity instructions, worksheets,



reflection tools, slide content, and session resources
- Assist with light testing and review of learning activities, materials, and program flow to help assess clarity, usability, accessibility, and learner engagement
- Support the development of clear, accessible documentation, including guides, FAQs, and process materials
- Provide administrative and coordination support related to student leadership, governance, and co-curricular learning initiatives
- Assist in gathering feedback and information from student leaders and program participants to inform ongoing improvements to tools, resources, processes, and learning experiences
- Support communication and coordination related to student leadership resources, learning materials, and co-curricular programming

Deliverables by End of Term

- Organized and updated materials within the digital governance hub
- Maintained shared co-curricular events calendar
- Contributed to a suite of standardized templates and support resources
- Compiled and organized learning materials and program resources to support co curricular initiatives, including The Learning Studio
- Contributed to the review and improvement of selected learning activities and student-facing materials
- Documented process updates and resource improvements to support continuity

Qualifications:

- Currently a full time Western Student, pursuing a University Degree in Business Education, Social Students or related field
- Experience in student leadership, student clubs, peer support, or student programming
- Interest in higher education administration, learning design, student development, or co-curricular programming
- Familiarity with student engagement, facilitation,



or educational resource development
