About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate protected, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon.

We have mining operations and projects in northern Saskatchewan, Kazakhstan, the United States and Australia. We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.

The Role

As part of Cameco’s Supply Chain Management team, you will support procurement activities for varying projects,



including sourcing materials and services, working within SAP, and interacting with multiple business stakeholders.

In This Role, You Will

- be responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the operation of Cameco’s projects.
- verify contract invoices conflicts and update procurement processes and procedures as required.
- obverse and Support contract negotiations
- develop training material for project procurement.

Required

- Entering your third or fourth year at the Edwards School of Business, with a preference to supply chain management majors;
- You must be returning to school for the academic semester following your work term with Cameco;
- Strong aptitude for computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite ( particularly Excel);
- Ability to evaluate alternatives, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives; and
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Recommended

- Experience with SAP, Power BI, SharePoint, or other ERP and reporting systems; and
- Previous involvement in student organizations, business plan competitions, volunteer activities,



or leadership roles is considered an asset.
