The Supply Chain Optimization

Analyst supports cross-functional initiatives that improve the performance, scalability and resilience of Riverside’s end-to-end supply chain. Reporting to the E2E Supply Chain Optimization Manager, this role will use data, supply‑chain knowledge and critical thinking to identify opportunities, investigate root causes and turn complex operational information into practical recommendations. The successful candidate will understand the language of supply chain while remaining curious enough to question existing assumptions and processes.

They will work across functions including Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Packaging, Brand, Finance, Master Data and Business Technology. The role will support a varied portfolio of improvement initiatives, including inventory optimization, product and packaging transitions, commercialization, and process development. The analyst will go both broad and deep, by providing analytical support to broader cross‑functional projects, and deep insights on workstreams they are leading.

Lead and support various supply chain or cross functional improvement initiatives. Extract, clean and analyze information from SAP/SAC and other business systems to translate business questions into clear findings and practical recommendations. Present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders in a concise and compelling way.

Identify when established processes or assumptions may no longer serve the business and constructively recommend improvements. Implement improvements, with a focus on process documentation, decision rules and controls to ensure improvements remain effective. Post‑secondary education in supply chain, engineering, business, operations,



analytics or a related field (or equivalent education and experience) Two to five years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, consulting, analytics or continuous improvement.

Experience working with supply‑chain or ERP data (such as SAP), and analytical tools (such as SAP Analytics Cloud) Experience in consumer packaged goods, food manufacturing or another complex manufacturing environment is preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), with analytical skills to process large and imperfect datasets. Proficiency with leveraging AI models to enhance speed and quality of work, with critical lens spotting erroneously generated calculations or assumptions Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills - ability to break ambiguous problems into logical questions, analyses and actions.

Solid understanding of supply‑chain concepts such as inventory, demand, production planning, procurement, capacity and bills of material. Robust communicator, with ease of breaking down complex analysis clearly and adapting message to the audience. Comfortable in dynamic environment, independently moving between detailed analysis, cross‑functional discussions and hands‑on operational problem solving, while seeking input when needed.

Analytical insights – Preparation of (2) pieces of analysis that leverages SAP/SAC inputs, and provides insights into business – 2 months Error‑free AI support – Leverage AI tools to support (2) data analysis or project related goals.

Project

Leadership – Leading at least (1) unique cross‑functional problem solving workstreams, involving multiple non‑supply chain departments, and (2) workstreams within supply chain department – 3 months Presentation of Results – Lead at least (1)
