Team Lead Operational Excellence EMEA (m/f/d)

From solving day-to-day challenges to making transportation work smarter, this is a role where you can make a real impact. As Team Lead Operational Excellence, you’ll lead a team that keeps our EMEA transportation operations running smoothly - while helping people, processes and performance move forward.

What you will be doing

- Lead and develop a team of Operational Excellence Specialists across EMEA
- Coordinate daily workload, priorities and team coverage, providing hands‑on guidance and support
- Act as the first escalation point for operational issues and drive pragmatic solutions
- Ensure the adoption of SOPs, standards and operational processes
- Monitor KPIs and identify performance gaps, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve transportation performance
- Work closely with Transportation, Customer Service, DCs, Supply Chain, IT and external service providers
- Partner with the Operational Excellence Manager to implement the Operational Excellence roadmap
- Drive the effective use of operational tools, data and systems, including opportunities for automation and digitalization

What you need to succeed

- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation or customer service
- First people leadership experience with a proven ability to guide, develop and motivate a team
- Good understanding of logistics and transportation operations
- Strong ownership and accountability, with a hands‑on and solution‑oriented approach
- Structured and analytical, with a strong focus on processes, data and continuous improvement
- Confident communicator who knows how to listen, collaborate and handle challenging situations
- Comfortable working with operational tools and data; SAP, WMS/TMS or similar systems are a plus




- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, international and quick‑paced environment
