Key Responsibilities

Technical Sales & Business Development

- Develop and execute technical-commercial sales strategies for Partnar Animal Health's portfolio across Ontario.
- Promote and sell veterinary pharmaceuticals, animal health products, reproductive technologies and specialized veterinary products to veterinary clinics and other animal health professionals.
- Use a consultative, value-based sales approach to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions based on technical, operational and commercial considerations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding product adoption and sales within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits, technical-commercial discussions, product demonstrations and follow-up activities throughout the territory.
- Develop long-term relationships with veterinarians, veterinary teams, livestock producers, distributors and other key industry stakeholders.
- Develop account and territory strategies to achieve sales objectives while supporting sustainable growth of Partnar's business in Ontario.

Technical Product Support & Customer Education

- Develop in-depth technical knowledge of Partnar Animal Health's veterinary pharmaceutical, large-animal health and reproductive product portfolio, including product applications, technical characteristics and appropriate use.
- Provide technical product support to veterinarians, veterinary clinic teams, livestock professionals, distributors and other customers.
- Plan and deliver technical product presentations, educational meetings, product demonstrations and training sessions for customers, distributors and internal sales personnel.
- Communicate scientific and technical product information clearly and translate it into practical product applications and customer solutions.
- Support customers in understanding product characteristics, applications and proper product use while operating within the scope of a technical sales role.
- Respond to technical product inquiries and coordinate with Partnar management, suppliers and manufacturing partners when additional technical expertise is required.
- Support the introduction and adoption of new products through technical education, field demonstrations and customer follow-up.

Territory & Key Account Management

- Independently manage and develop the Ontario territory, establishing customer priorities, account strategies and travel plans to maximize market coverage and commercial opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key veterinary clinics, livestock operations, distributors and other strategic animal health accounts.




- Develop and execute territory and key-account plans aligned with Partnar Animal Health's sales objectives, product priorities and market-development strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, account development activities and forecasts using the company's customer relationship management and reporting systems.
- Regularly assess territory performance, customer needs and business opportunities and communicate relevant findings and recommendations to Partnar management.

Market Intelligence & Collaboration

- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities and changes affecting the animal health and livestock sectors and communicate relevant insights to Partnar management.
- Maintain awareness of competing products, technical developments and evolving customer requirements to support effective product positioning and commercial strategy.
- Collaborate with Partnar management, internal team members, suppliers and manufacturing partners to coordinate customer support, product initiatives and market-development activities.
- Represent Partnar Animal Health at veterinary meetings, livestock industry events, conferences, trade shows and other relevant professional activities.
- Share technical and commercial knowledge with internal team members to support consistent product understanding and customer service across the organization.

Required Education & Professional Experience

- University degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent).
- Canadian veterinary licensure is not required, as the position does not involve the practice of veterinary medicine.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive professional experience in the animal health, veterinary pharmaceutical or livestock industry.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in technical sales, technical marketing, product management, business development or related technical-commercial roles involving animal health or veterinary products.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience supporting large-animal veterinary markets and livestock production systems, including dairy and/or beef cattle.
- Demonstrated experience delivering technical product training, scientific or technical presentations and customer education to veterinarians, livestock professionals, distributors and/or commercial teams.
- Demonstrated experience in territory development, key-account management and consultative or value-based selling within the animal health or livestock sector.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing customer needs, market trends and competitive activity to support product positioning, commercial strategy and market development.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong scientific and technical understanding of animal health, veterinary products and livestock production systems,



with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to veterinary and livestock professionals.
- Advanced consultative and value-based selling skills, with demonstrated ability to translate technical product knowledge into practical customer solutions and commercial opportunities.
- Strong understanding of large-animal veterinary markets, livestock production systems and the commercial environment in which veterinarians, producers and animal health companies operate.
- Ability to independently manage a large geographic sales territory, prioritize accounts, develop territory strategies and maintain consistent customer follow-up.
- Strong presentation and training skills, with the ability to deliver technical and commercial education to veterinarians, livestock professionals, distributors, customers and internal commercial teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret customer feedback, market trends, competitive activity and field information to support product positioning and business-development decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term skilled relationships with veterinarians, livestock producers, distributors, industry partners and other key stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with management, sales teams, technical personnel, suppliers and manufacturing partners in Canada and internationally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of self-motivation, professional judgment and ability to work independently in a field-based environment.

Language Requirements

- Professional proficiency in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills required for technical presentations, customer training, sales activities and business communication.

Compensation & Benefits

- Base salary of CAD $90,000 per year (equivalent to approximately CAD $43.27 per hour based on a 40-hour work week).
- Performance-based compensation in addition to base salary, in accordance with the company's compensation program.
- Vehicle allowance to support the extensive travel requirements of the position.
- Reimbursement of approved business travel expenses, including fuel, meals, accommodations and other eligible expenses incurred while performing job duties.
