Job Title: Room Attendant
Location: St. John's, NL
Work Schedule: 4-10 hours per week

Rate of Pay: $20.00/hr

We are currently seeking a Room Attendant for a client in the heart of St. John's. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a clean, protected, and supportive environment for patients and their families. We are committed to excellence in infection prevention and comfort.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect rooms and common spaces according to infection control standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies
- Properly handle and dispose of waste, including biohazard materials, following the proper safety protocols
- Ensure rooms are prepared promptly




- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Follow all policies, including confidentiality and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare cleaning experience preferred
- Understanding of infection prevention practices (training provided if required)
- Ability to handle sensitive environments with professionalism and compassion
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for an extended period of time
