Take on an impactful role as a temporary 0.600 FTE Learning Resource Teacher at Len Wood Middle School. This position focuses on delivering specialized support to students with diverse learning needs. To qualify, you must have a Master’s or Diploma in Special Education and a valid BC teaching certificate.
The role encompasses case management, assessment administration, and development of Individual Education and Positive Behaviour Support Plans. Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support is vital. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage documentation for student cases
- Implement and evaluate Individual Education Plans
- Participate in team-oriented planning with educational teams
- Engage directly in classroom support for diverse learners
- Guide Certified Education Assistants under school leadership Requirements:
- Master’s or Diploma in Special Education
- Current BC teaching certificate required
- Experience with CBIEP development in MyEd BC
- Strong skills in student data technology
