TEMPORARY PART TIME SOCIAL WORKER – For approximately 1 year TEMPORARY PART-TIME SOCIAL WORKER – For approximately 1 year Allied Health Rate of Pay: $46.966 – $59.844 Reason for Posting: Existing vacancy Job Duties - Position Available November 2026 - Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the successful candidate will provide social work services to patients and families throughout the continuum of their course of treatment and participate in responding to Patient Relations inquiries.

- This position will require travel between the two sites of the Middlesex Hospital Alliance (MHA).

Essential Qualifications - Must provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps rubella and varicella (chicken pox) and proof of 2 COVID-19 vaccinations - Must provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing within the previous 12 months - Skills - Current registration and membership with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).

- Minimum of three (3) years of hospital experience preferred.
- Excellent assessment skills and comprehensive knowledge of community resources and services to support patient and family care needs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an active member of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Cerner computer system is considered an asset.
