We’re looking for a detail-oriented Terminal Maintenance Logistics Administrator for a 2-year term to join the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) Telecom and Retail Services team in our Winnipeg office. Reporting to the Team Lead of Terminal Maintenance, you’ll help support the day-to-day coordination of equipment, inventory, service requests, shipments, invoices, and operational records that keep our retail network services moving efficiently.
This is a full-time temporary opportunity with an expected duration of two years.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be asked to…
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records for operational equipment, including tracking active and spare assets, reviewing daily activity, and updating master records to reflect installations, removals, swaps, and other changes.
- Coordinate work orders and service requests with internal teams, provincial and territorial partners, retailers, service providers, and technicians to support equipment installations, removals, maintenance activity, and issue resolution through to completion.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory, asset, billing, shipment, and service activity variances by working with internal departments, external partners, retailers, and suppliers.
- Prepare, process, reconcile, and distribute invoices, expense claims, internal usage reports, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders in accordance with departmental processes and approval requirements.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including packaging, tracking, documentation, customs or brokerage reconciliation, and communication of shipment status for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor shared mailboxes, service channels, and investigation requests, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate documentation, and appropriate escalation where required.
- Maintain departmental records for real time operational reporting,
- Support departmental activities including research, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement activities related to retail technology, consumables, logistics, and departmental processes.
- Participate in meetings, projects, procurement activities, and request-for-proposal support as required, providing input and completing assigned follow-up tasks.
- Provide back-up coverage, general operational support, and other related duties as assigned to ensure continuity of departmental services.
Qualifications: For this role, we’re looking for someone with…
- A post-secondary diploma or certificate in business administration, logistics, supply chain, information technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience in an administrative, logistics, inventory control, billing, procurement, or operational support role, preferably in a technology, telecommunications, retail operations, or service delivery environment.
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records, reconcile discrepancies, and follow established procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel, and the ability to learn and use inventory, billing, procurement, work order, courier, and reporting systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities,
meet deadlines, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external suppliers, service partners, and retail stakeholders.
- Ability to investigate issues, identify variances, recommend practical solutions, and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Experience with shipping, receiving, customs documentation, invoice processing, purchasing, or asset management is considered an asset.
- Ability to lift and carry Point of Sale hardware, assets and supplies up to 50 lbs.
- A collaborative, service-oriented approach with sound judgment, discretion, and a commitment to supporting reliable day-to-day operations.
