Join Henry Schein Canada as a Total Rewards Specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract and help deliver Total Rewards programs that support Team Schein Members across Canada. This role combines hands-on administration across compensation, benefits, wellness, leaves, disability and pension with solid HRIS, reporting and employee service responsibilities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate day-to-day Total Rewards requests across compensation, advantages, wellness, leaves, disability and pension programs, providing responsive service to Team Schein Members, leaders and HR partners.
- Support compensation administration, including market pricing, compensation surveys, job documentation and evaluation, reporting, and annual merit and incentive activities.
- Administer routine job-protected and disability-related leaves,
workplace injury and illness cases, documentation, key dates, pay/status changes and return-to-work plans across Canadian jurisdictions.
- Champion and deliver Canadian wellness initiatives, campaigns, events and communications while tracking participation and program data.
- Complete benefits and pension administration, including enrolments, life-event changes, employee inquiries, audits, reconciliations, vendor follow-up, contribution audits and employee education.
- Maintain accurate Total Rewards data in Workday and ADP, prepare reports, investigate discrepancies and support HRIS/process changes.
- Monitor benefits utilization, workers’ compensation, leave and wellness data to identify trends and opportunities that support evidence-based program decisions.
- Identify process improvements, help create standard operating procedures and contribute to Total Rewards projects and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING
You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, Finance or a related field, with two to four years of experience in HR or Total Rewards. You have working knowledge of compensation, benefits, wellness and leave/disability practices, with strong communication, organization and analytical skills.
You are proficient in Excel and Workday or ADP HRIS and comfortable using AI-enabled tools. A CCP or HR designation and bilingualism in French and English are considered assets.
*This is a hybrid, 12-month fixed-term contract position based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario.
The posted range for this position is $62,000 - $77,000, which is the expected salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location/labour market, internal equity, etc.
