What You’ll Be Doing

- Locate and mark underground utilities including gas, power, telecom, water, and sewer lines using maps and advanced locating equipment
- Interpret site plans, blueprints, and utility records with a high level of accuracy
- Communicate clearly and confidently with crews, supervisors, and clients on-site
- Complete detailed field documentation, sketches, and digital reports
- Perform all work in compliance with client standards, while consistently pushing beyond minimum industry expectations
- Coordinate daily activities with supervisors and field teams
- Maintain solid, professional relationships with landowners and stakeholders
- Approach each job with an owner’s mindset, identifying risks, efficiencies, and opportunities to improve execution





What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3+ year of utility locating experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of ground disturbance practices and safe work procedures
- High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate, clean work
- Ability to work independently while representing the company with confidence
- Strong communication skills — able to clearly speak to clients and crews alike
- Background in competitive athletics (varsity or high-level team sports) is considered a strong asset
- Willingness to travel and adapt to changing field conditions
- A mindset focused on growth, accountability, and continuous improvement

Required Certifications & Requirements

- Already has Ground Disturbance Level II or willing to take the course
- Already has CSTS 2020, WHMIS, and First Aid (current) or willing to take the course
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean abstract
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Locate 101 certificate or willing to take

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
