You will ensure animal husbandry, health monitoring, and technical services in a multi-species workplace. The role involves communicating day-to-day with clinical veterinarians and managing the welfare of the animals in your care. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform daily feeding, watering, and cage changing for animals
- Maintain environmental enrichment according to species needs




- Monitor animal health and report issues to veterinarians
- Execute veterinary care instructions for treatments and drug administration
- Ensure compliance with provincial and federal animal care protocols

Requirements:

- Completion of Veterinary Technology community college program
- One year of practical experience or two years of training
- Familiarity with large animals in a research setting
- WHMIS training and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
