Statement of Duties The Warehouse Assistant – Shipping & Receiving supports the day-to-day coordination of incoming and outgoing materials, glass, parts, and tools for Solidus Holdings and its Glass Doctor and Top Cat brands.

This entry-level role is responsible for receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing materials for jobs, and maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and shop environment. The role plays an important part in making sure technicians have the materials, glass, and tools they need to complete jobs safely, efficiently, and on time.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

- Receive incoming deliveries and verify accuracy against packing slips
- Check for damaged or missing items and report any discrepancies
- Label, sort, and organize parts and materials in the warehouse or storage area
- Prepare and stage materials and glass for scheduled jobs
- Communicate with technicians about part availability and job readiness
- Support outgoing shipments, ensuring items are properly packaged and labeled
- Keep inventory area clean, safe, and well-organized
- Perform basic record-keeping using internal tracking tools or forms
- Assist with regular inventory counts and restocking
- Follow all safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required
- Other general support duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No previous experience required; training will be provided
- Physically able to lift and move up to 50 lbs safely




- Comfortable working in a warehouse/shop setting
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic computer or tablet skills an asset (for inventory tracking)
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Hours: 25 hours per week

Schedule: 5 days per week, starting at 7:30 AM Pay $18.25 per hour

Pay: $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 per week
