NKD Wax & Laser is a growing beauty studio in Pickering specializing in professional waxing, sugaring, threading, facials and laser services.

We are looking for an experienced Waxer / Esthetician to join our team. The primary focus of this position is professional waxing, so we are looking for someone who is confident, efficient, detail-oriented and passionate about providing an excellent client experience.

The Role

As a Waxer / Esthetician, you will provide professional waxing services while ensuring every client feels comfortable, respected and cared for.

Your responsibilities may include

- Brazilian and bikini waxing
- Male Brazilian waxing
- Underarm waxing
- Full-leg and half-leg waxing
- Full-arm and half-arm waxing
- Full-back waxing
- Male and female chest waxing
- Facial waxing
- Nose and specialty waxing
- Brow shaping and waxing
- Client consultations
- Providing professional aftercare recommendations
- Maintaining a clean, organized and hygienic treatment area
- Following all salon sanitation and safety procedures
- Providing friendly and professional customer service

Important Requirement You must be comfortable and experienced waxing both women and men.

This includes being comfortable performing waxing services for clients of different ages, skin tones, body types and backgrounds.

Experience with male Brazilian waxing and male body waxing is strongly preferred.

Our clients trust us with personal and intimate services, so professionalism, respect, discretion and a non-judgmental attitude are essential.





Additional Skills – Bonus

Waxing experience is the priority, but experience with the following services is a strong asset:

- Facials and skincare treatments
- Facial threading
- Brow threading
- Sugaring
- Brow mapping and shaping
- Hybrid tinting
- Brow lamination
- Laser hair removal

You do not need to be an expert in every service. We are primarily looking for someone who is highly confident in waxing. Additional skills are a bonus and may provide opportunities to offer more services to clients. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is:

Qualifications
- Previous professional waxing experience required
- Experience with Brazilian waxing required
- Esthetics certification/diploma preferred
- Salon or spa experience is an asset
- Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices




- Ability to provide a consistently professional client experience
