Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and creative programming to students in a number of communities. School, located in the community of Athabasca, serves approximately 700 students in Grades 7–12. As the largest school in Aspen View Public Schools, EPC offers a broad range of learning opportunities within a modern facility opened in 2018. Students have access to a full complement of academic programming, as well as Career and Technology Studies courses including welding, mechanics, woodworking, and cosmetology.

The school also offers strong fine arts options such as music, visual arts and drama.

School is recruiting to an enthusiastic and skilled Welding/Fabrication Teacher to join our Grades 7–12 school community for a temporary teaching assignment through November 6,



2026 with potential for extension. The successful candidate will provide engaging, hands-on instruction in welding and fabrication, supporting students in developing practical skills, confidence, and a strong understanding of safe shop practices. This position will commence on August 24, 2026 or as soon thereafter as possible.

A current criminal record check including vulnerable sector check and child intervention check, dated within the past six (6) months, must be provided prior to an employment contract being issued. Please include an updated resume, two professional references and a copy of Alberta Teacher Certification.
