Position Summary

The Cleaning Technician Iis responsible forcleaningactivities in the material storage and manufacturing areas, as well as providing occasional housekeeping support. At times, thecleaning technicianmayassistwith work orders orad hochousekeeping requests, ensuring thedocumentation andfacilityiscompliantfor manufacture to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards. This role will report to the Cleaning Lead Hand.

Responsibilities:

- Performscleaningactivities withincleanrooms,laboratories,materialstorage/warehousing areas,as prioritized by scheduleorasrequired.




- Usesapproved cleaning materials and tools.
- Ensuresall documentationiscompletedaccording to standard operating procedures,departmental policies,and Good Documentation Practices.
- Completesalldocumentationtimelyand accurately.
- Providessupport for the cleaning of production areas,whenrequired.
- Assistsandcompletesall appointedpreventative/predictivemaintenanceprograms within the allowedtime frame,when assigned.
- Monitorsinventory of cleaning materials and consumables,andreportswhenitems need to be ordered.
- Identifiesdeficiencies andreportsdeviationsimmediately.
- Completeswork orders or special requests for housekeeping or cleaning activities.
- Followsall departmentaland company proceduresworksin a safemanner,andreportsanyproblems orviolations of company policies and procedures to the Cleaning Lead Hand.
- Informsthe Cleaning Lead Handregardingworkload andtheability to executeassigned tasks properly and accurately while ensuring the cleaning activities achieve the targeted goals. If goals cannot be met,promptly reportsthe status to the Cleaning Lead Hand.
- Assistsin the organization ofspecial events, includinggeneral meetings or other events,asrequired.
- Performsquality work with little or no supervision.
- Conformsall relevant departmental and company standard operating proceduresto the principles of GMP.
- Maintainsa clear line of communication withthe Cleaning Lead Hand at all times.




- Providesrecommendationsregardingsystem improvements.
- Assistsothers within the Operationsteam,whenrequired.
- Works in a safe mannerand collaboratesas a team member to achieve all outcomes.
- All other relevant duties,as assigned.

Requirements:

- 1+ years of experienceinanindustrial/commercialcleaningoroperations capacity in abiopharma/pharmaceutical GMP environment.
- Minimumgrade 12 education,or equivalent.
- General knowledgeof cleanroomoperations.
- General knowledgeofbuildingoperations.
- General Knowledge ofcleaningequipmentoperations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Able to follow instructions and seek outsupport,whenrequired.
