Help vulnerable youth at Covenant House Vancouver as a Youth Worker in the Rights of Passage Program. Provide support, life skills, and celebrate their successes as they transition to independent living.

Covenant House

Vancouver seeks a dedicated Youth Worker for its impactful Rights of Passage Program. This role focuses on offering safe housing and guidance to youth aged 16-24.

Key responsibilities include aiding youth in life skills, education planning, and maintaining employment while navigating the challenges related to homelessness and trauma. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet youth and assess their immediate needs
- Build relationships with at-risk youth aged 16-24
- Introduce recent youth to program services




- Assist youth in setting and achieving personal goals
- Provide crisis intervention and first aid when necessary Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in social services is an asset
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role
- First Aid & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage youth case files and documentation Support vulnerable youth in achieving independence and stability with your skills and compassion at Covenant House Vancouver.
