1. JOB PURPOSE:
As a lead member of Fix Auto’s production team, the Production Manager plays a key role in ensuring the auto body process is seamless, and the production team is supported in their roles.2. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Manager is responsible to support the oversight of production flow and the production team. The Production Manager acts as the coordinator between the back end and front end departments to oversee production flow and the overall operations of the business. The Production Manager will have strong attention to detail skills to ensure quality of all products, and have the ability to creatively strategize new initiatives for the team.Fitting in with our positive and fast paced work environment, the Production Manager must be highly organized, able to think outside of the box, prioritize ever changing tasks, communicate clearly and timely, and most importantly, foster an setting for growth and success. Being able to handle stress in a calm manner, proactively finding solutions rather than acting in a reactive state, and coach employees through challenges is crucial.As the needs of the business adapt and elevate, growth opportunities within the organization are highly encouraged. The successful candidate is an individual who wants to challenge their skills, and be an integral part of an expanding organization.3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership Support
Support with leadership to all production departmentsEffectively communicate tasks and timelines to all members of the production teamCoordinate with peers to troubleshoot challenges and find solutions for delays in the production processEncourage growth, strong communication, and qualityHost production meetings and reward employees for successesGeneral Duties
Manage production team to achieve cycle time targets respecting parts management and customer/insurance partner expectations (i.E. cycle time, touch time,
and length of rental).Coordinate all sublets to ensure production flow is managed and timelyEnsure quality and safety standards are being met and followed at all timesMonitor repair orders to maximize efficiency and gross profitsOversee damage report, repair orders and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performedMonitor parts and material usageAssist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and suppliesAccurate completion of work orders and quality control sheetsAct as support and backfill for all repair planner dutiesContinuous Improvement
Work with management to encourage growth and development of team members through internal and external training partnersMaintain a working knowledge of new technology and process improvements to implementMaintain protected working conditions and adhere to OH&S; StandardsSupport ownership in organizational growth and continuous improvement*Please note as a versatile role, other tasks may be required from time to time4. WORKING CONDITIONS:

Post Secondary focusing on BusinessEXPERIENCE
3-5 years experience in the autobody industryLeadership experience in a similar roleSKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Strong written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service and professionalism skillsHighly knowledge of the autobody industry and vehicle damageAbility to lead a team of multiple personalitiesAbility to work independently and make sound decisions under pressureHighly organizedAble to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all times
