This temporary role involves responsibilities such as planning both individual and group activities and maintaining a warm, clean environment for participation. You'll monitor residents, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and document participation according to policies. Experience with cognitive impairments is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and evaluate engaging activities for residents
• Transport residents and prepare activity spaces
• Observe and report residents' behaviors and conditions




• Record participation and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with various departments to address needs
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in recreation or related field
• Proficient in developing programs for seniors
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Independent worker with effective time management
• Knowledge of geriatric care, particularly cognitive support
