Sofina Foods is seeking licensed 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwrights for full-time positions in Burlington, Ontario. Work afternoon shifts with a competitive hourly wage and opportunities for overtime.
This role focuses on maintaining mechanical equipment within a pork processing facility, ensuring a secure working environment. You will be tasked with performing repairs and troubleshooting, managing work requests, and prioritizing your work in a fast-paced setting, all while adhering to GMP rules.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety regulations are followed in the plant
• Conduct PMs, PDMs, and maintenance work orders
• Repair and maintain various industrial equipment
• Collaborate within a team environment
• Account for inventory using a computerized system
Requirements:
• Valid 433A license required
• Minimum 50 pounds lifting capability
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in TIG welding and troubleshooting
• Must have own tools and be legally eligible to work in Canada
