This full-time role is key in supporting Indigenous wellness by leading healing circles and community ceremonies. As a coordinator, you'll utilize your knowledge and experience from social work to enhance cultural sensitivity and care practices. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and facilitate Indigenous cultural ceremonies
• Coordinate traditional healing programs and activities
• Cultivate positive cultural values among staff and community
• Care for educational resources related to culture
• Offer traditional medicine education to community members
Requirements:
• Required: Social Service Worker diploma
• At least 3 years of experience in a hospital setting
• OCSWSWW registration in good standing
• Cultural awareness training is essential
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and travel readiness
