Pursue a meaningful role at Vancouver Island Health Authority as a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker based in Victoria, BC. This temporary part time position is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges.
As part of a multidisciplinary team at Seven Oaks Tertiary Mental Health, you will provide support and rehabilitation to clients in a community setting. Your contributions will include assisting clients with daily activities and self-care while engaging in treatment planning and monitoring strategies to ensure their well-being. Building rapport and trust with clients will be key to promoting their recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Help clients with daily living skills and rehabilitation activities




• Participate in client treatment planning and implementation
• Monitor health conditions and medication responses
• Support clients during outings and activities
• Collaborate with team members for comprehensive care
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma and relevant mental health coursework
• Two years of hands-on experience with mental illnesses
• Valid BC Driver's License and CPR, Food Safe certifications
• Understanding of the Mental Health Act mandatory
