You should have a good working knowledge of the residential industry and possess exemplary English verbal communication skills.ResponsibilitiesWork independently to produce accurate estimates of materials and labour for customersPrepare project costing and budgetsSupport analysis and reporting using advanced Excel tools and Power Query where neededCommunicate with customers through all stages of the estimating process from tender submission to project completionSolicit new customers and retain legacy customersQualificationsMinimum 1‑year experience as an Estimator and/or SalesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and documentsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Power Query requiredGoal‑oriented with the ability to build professional, long‑term relationshipsProspecting skills for new customersPassion to negotiate and close dealsStrong interpersonal, relationship‑building and communication skillsExemplary English communication skills (both written and verbal)Post‑secondary college educationWe are also committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
